The coronavirus has unleashed the chaos across the nation and in Nagpur also witnessing its adverse effects. The city is currently undergoing through the lockdown and many people are facing many issues as some of them are found it extremely difficult to find food for them.
Amid this crucial situation, many NGOs have expressed their willingness to help those in needy. It is really appreciating that they are fulfilling the duty of being the socially committed. However, it is pertinent to take care while helping them because the coronavirus is a pandemic. Those who are helping them should follow the precautionary measures like social distancing and maintain hygiene.
Due to the lockdown any people have lost their jobs. Many of such people have stranded in city as they are unable to return to their hometowns. Many NGOs and local police department too has come forward to help them. NGOs have started distributing food packets medicines, masks and sanitizers.
However, at few places the activities by the NGOs have raised concerns. It has been advised to them is that while doing the noble deed they should avoid rush and only one two should carry out the services to prevent contamination. Maintain hygiene while preparing the food for the needy people, utmost care should be taken while packing. While distributing the food packets and other articles the donors should wear gloves and masks.
