As the number of coronavirus cases is increasing each day the government is implementing all possible restrictions required to conquer the pandemic in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while declaring a total lockdown in India for 21 days, stressed upon one thing over and over – that in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus infection, every individual will have to practice social distancing.

Amid this situation, the ration shops in the city seem to have taken that instruction seriously. People maintaining social distancing at ration shops were captured today in Nagpur.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) headed by PM Modi had approved the Food Ministry’s proposed to supply an extra two-kilo subsidized food grains to over 80 crore people registered under the Public Distribution System (PDS) amid nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.
