KDKCE organized the series of E-Expert Talk

Civil Engineering Department of KDKCE organized the series of E-Expert Talk in association with Indian concrete Institute (ICI) Nagpur Centre and ACC Cement for the Civil Engineering students.The expert talk is organized to bridge the gap between academics and industrial requirement during the lock down period.

Dr Sandeep Shirkhedkar, Director, IMAGIS India Private Limited, Nagpur delivered a Vivacious E-Expert Talk on “Role of Civil Engineers in present scenario of Infrastructure Development”. He has covered all avenues of Civil Engineering with practical examples.

Er Satish Raipure, Renowned Structural Consultant in Nagpur delivered the E-Expert Talk on “Construction Process, Estimating & Costing”. He has nicely explained that Construction Process and Management is the key part of any project. He has also focused on Estimating and Costing and how can we manage both of these for the hassle free completion of any project.

Dr M D Goel, VNIT has delivered the E-Expert Talk on “Mechanical Behavior of Materials for Civil Engineering”. He has covered various Civil Engineering Materials and its properties for effective utilization as per the construction requirement. Many second year students have sorted out their querieson the topic.

Chandrashekhar Nidhondkar, Manager, ACC has taken active interest in making this event fruitful and beneficial to all budding civil engineers during such adverse condition of Lockdown.

Students actively present in the E-Expert Talk, these talks brought positivity among Civil Engineering students during the lock down period. More than 250 students from 14 Engineering colleges across the Maharashtra and all India were attended E-Expert talk on Zoom platform certificates were presented to all attendees.

Dr. Valsson Varghese, Head of Civil Engineering Department welcomed the Expert speaker and briefed the important of this E-talk initiative of department. Dr A M Badar, Vice-Principal also welcomed the participants during second E-Expert Talk. Prof. S R Satone coordinated the event.

The Engineering Professionals, ICI members, and faculties from various college have participated in the Expert Talk.

Dr. D P Singh, Principal, Dr. N.R. Dhamge, Prof. S.R. Satone, Prof. M.N. Umare, Prof. P.S. Randive, Dr B S Ruprai, Prof. V.D. Vaidya, Prof. A.R. Nikhade, Prof. D.B. Awachat, Prof. D.S. Padole, Prof. A.D. Shende attended the lectures.
