An automatic vending machine for mask and sanitizer has been installed at Nagpur division’s Nagpur Railway station. This is an innovative idea to fight coronavirus by the Indian Railway.
3 ply mask and NP5 sanitizer bottle will be available through these vending machines. Railways’ novel initiative will help passengers in traveling safe during coronavirus. At the same time, the railways will also receive revenue of Rs 12 thousand every year in the form of license fees.
The contract was signed under the guidance of Central Railway, Nagpur Division senior divisional commercial manager Krishnath Patil and assistant commerce manager (coaching) Vijay C Thool and under the supervision of commerce inspector Tara Prasad Acharya, headed by divisional railway manager Somesh Kumar.
