A 25-year-old girl was killed after the car in which she was riding with her friend turned turtle near Ramtek in Nagpur district on Saturday evening.
According to information Nitu Suresh Singh (25) and Sachin Haribhau Dhande (29), both residents of Nagpur had gone to Ramtek, 60 km from here.
The incident occurred when Dhande, who was driving, lost control over the wheels near Ramtek and it overturned.
In the accident, Nitu Singh suffered severe head injuries. When taken to hospital doctor declared her brought dead. Dhande sustained minor injuries.
A case of rash driving has been registered against Dhande. Further probe is on.
