The combined electricity bill which is being distributed this month after March came as a shocker for the consumers.As per information,more than 500 people are coming in the MSEDCL offices every day with the complaints.Many consumers alleged that there are irregularities in the electricity bill.As per information,at Tulsibagh office on Monday rally of 500 people reached the office.
Office employees tried to solve the problem of every customer one by one till 6 pm.Some became satisfied while some remained disappointed.As per the MSEDCL sources,while giving the average bill the average was taken for December,January,and February.In this period the electricity bill remains less due to less consumption.
But in the month of March,April and May the consumption remains high and it directly affects power bill.
The consumers are demanding the installment to pay the bill as it is not possible for them to pay three months bill at one go.No policy is made in this regard so far so the MSEDCL employees are not giving any concrete assurance to the consumers.
