Mahesh Moroney appointed as new CEO Nagpur Smart City, replaces Mundhe

Nagpur Municipal Chief Tukaram Mundhe was removed from the post of CEO of the Smart City project on Friday.
Mahesh Moroney who was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Smart City project has been appointed as the new CEO of the project.

A decision was made in the Board of Directors meeting held in Nagpur.
Mayor Sandeep Joshi on June 22 registered a financial fraud case against Nagpur Municipal Corporation Chief Tukaram Mundhe CEO “Smart City”. Two officers of Smart City project Mona Thakur and Tukaram Mundhe are accused of misusing the public money and misleading the public.
