Recently many honey trap cases are reported in city and the so called masterminds behind all the crimes, Rajat alias Chhotu Thakur and his girlfriend Priya used to carry out the crime by changing their accomplices for everytime.With this trick, their accomplices could not get familiar of the ones working with them. The police have already raided many places in city in search for them. The point to be noted here is on August 21, a drug company officer was kidnapped in a car at MIDC and demanded Rs.8 lakh on gun point. And they looted Rs.1.40 lakh rupees from the victim. Police have arrested engineering student Sumit alias Daddu Parihar, Gunnu Mandal and Tushar alias Monu alias Totia Jagtap in this incident. They are in police custody till August 28.However; the masterminds of the gang Chhotu and Priya are absconding.
As per information, Priya is basically a resident of Tumsar and has been running a honey trap gang with the help of Chhotu Thakur for a long time. They have victimised many people including the son of a retired police officer.Priya first befriends the victim and then calls him over to her room. And Chhotu comes their with his companions and threatens to assault and defame the victim. For each honey trap both use new partners and win their trust by giving them a share in the amount received through extortion.Priya has many names and she used different names for each victim. The entire story will come out after police arrest the masterminds Chhotu and Priya.
