Adding yet another feather to its cap, students of Bhavan’s B.P. Vidya Mandir, Ashti brought laurels to the school by achieving magnificent success at All India Multilingual Dance and Music Competition organised by Theatre Movement, Cuttack, Odisha from 20th Jan. to 31st Jan 2020. In this competition, teams from Nepal, Assam, Manipur, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and many other states across India had participated. Against these teams, the students of Bhavan’s B.P. Vidya Mandir, Ashti displayed a wonderful performance and bagged the First Prize in Trio Folk Dance (Komala Sundori) performed by Ms Sayali Janerkar, Ms Kalash Singh and Ms Ahana Ghosh , Third Prize in Duet Folk Dance (Gatka) performed by Mast. Dhruv Adwani and Mast. Anant Batra.
The school also clinched the First Prize in Group Kathak Dance and Folk Dance (Teratali) Category, the Second Prize in Semi-classical and Modern Creative Category, while First Prize in Drama Production, Second Prize for Direction to Ms Madhumita Chuckerbutty and Third Prize for Best Script to Mr Govind Trivedi.
The troupe included Ms Manashree Ashtekar, Ms Medhavi Pande, Ms Tejashree Zade, Ms Kalash Singh, Ms Sayali Janerkar, Ms Ahana Ghosh, Ms Shatavari Bhumkar, Ms Reet Oberoi, Ms Srinita Izmulwar, Mast. Anujsingh Gautam, Mast. Arya Gonnade, Mast. Kartik Agrawal, Mast. Nishad Dhote, Mast. Dhruv Adwani, Mast. Anant Batra, Mast. Krishna Bhandare, Mast. Atharva Patwa, Mast. Dishit Bachar and Mast. Ashmit Kankale.
In Tabla performances, Mast. Krishna Bhandare bagged Second Prize and Mast. Atharva Patwa secured Third Prize in Tabla Solo Category while the school won Second Prize in Group Tabla Category performed by Mast. Dishit Bachar, Mast. Ashmit Kankale, Mast. Krishna Bhandare and Mast. Atharva Patwa. It was a great moment for school for having been honoured with the Overall Trophy for Best Group.  All the dance performances were choreographed by Dance Teacher Ms Madhumita Chuckerbutty while Tabla Teacher Mr Jawahar Suryawanshi guided the Tabla students.
Principal Smt. Vandana Bisen highly praised the performers congratulating them and teachers for putting in hard efforts that brought this magnificent success.
