As we know every day the numbers of Covid patients are increasing in city simultaneously the death rate are also increasing. Amid this serious situation, many private hospitals are refusing to give admission. And people are complaining about this. In view of the situation, the civic chief has issued an order for approved private hospitals to treat positive Covid-19 patients. The Municipal Commissioner also warned that if the private hospitals do not follow the orders they will cancel the registration of the private hospitals violating the order by fixing the responsibilities as per the government directives.
The private hospitals should not admit corona patients on their own. According to the government guidelines, 80% beds should be reserved for Covid patients. Treat critically ill patient first. The third party insurance claims should be treated and sent to the insurance companies by the hospital for the claim. The bill should be charged as per the rates fixed by the government. Inform the control room of the corporation before admitting the patient. If the patient is serious, inform within one hour after admission.
