As we know the trial of Covishield vaccine is going on across the world, and the two by three phase trains of Covishield vaccine will begin at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) from September 28.As per information, the first dose will be given to 50 selected people. The trial is going on behalf of Oxford University and AstraZeneca. Serum Institute of Pune is conducting the second and third phase trials.
Recently GMCH got the permission to hold the human trial of the vaccine.GMCH has commenced the preparation for this. At present registration is going on for the volunteers. Healthy people from the age group of 18 to 60 years are selected for the trials. At first trials will be done on 50 people. After giving the first dose, second dose will be given after 28 days. After 56 days the volunteer will be examined in the hospital. After 90 days, his condition will be inquired on the phone. On the 180th day, the volunteer will be examined again in the hospital. In this test, the safety of the vaccine and disease resistant capacity will be tested.
