Amid the festive season, Indian Railways has planned to run several long distance special passenger carrying trains to cater to needs of the travellers. Visakhapatnam-Delhi: Visakhapatnam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Visakhapatnam Superfast special train will run five days from next week in either direction. Train No 02817 Visakhapatnam-H Nizamuddin would be available from October 20 to 29 (Tuesday ,Wednesday ,Thursday, Saturday , and Sunday), while Train No 02818 H Nizamuddin Visakhapatnam special train would run from October 22 to November 1 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday , Monday and Tuesday).
This special train will stop except at Singapore Road, Therubali, Ambodola, Narola Road, Rupra Road and it would run similar to Samata Express. The structure of special trains includes 23 coaches comprising two IIAC, four IIAC, nine sleeper, five general bogies and two SLR and a pantry coach. Visakhapatnam-Delhi: Another special train is Visakhapatnam- H Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam. Train No 02851 Visakhapatnam-H Nizamuddin will run two days in a week during October on every Monday on October 23, 26 and 30 and during November on 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, and 27. Train No 02852 H NizamuddinVisakhapatnam every Sunday and Wednesday in the month of October 25 and 28, and in the month of November it would run on 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25 and 29.The trains will have stoppages similar to Train No 12803 except at Pandhurna and Raja Ki Mandi. It would have 23 coaches comprising 2 IIAC, four III AC, nine sleeper, five general, 2 SLR and 1 pantry coach.
Porbandar-Howrah: Another special train will run bi-weekly on Porbandar-Howrah Porbandar route. Train No 09205 Porbandar-Howrah Superfast Special train will run every Wednesday and Thursday at start at 08.00 hours and reach Howrah on third day at 03:35 pm. Train No 09206 Howrah Porbandar Superfast special will run every Friday and Saturday. This special Superfast Express train will leave Howrah at 22.50 pm and reach Porbandar at 18.10 pm on the third day. All the above trains will have reserved coaches and only confirmed ticket passengers can travel. Passengers must use masks during the journey, maintain social distance, and follow the rules related to COVID-19. All railway passengers are requested to complete the process of COVID-19 and reached railway station two hours before the arrival time of the train.
In view of the demand for Goa, Central Railway has also introduced Nagpur-Madgaon-Nagpur and Madgaon-Nagpur Madgaon weekly special train. Train No 01235 Nagpur-Madgaon Express will run from October 23 to November 6, every Wednesday and start at 16.00 hrs ex-Nagpur, Wardha – 16.53/16.55, Badnera – 18.48/18.50, Akola-19:45/19:47, Bhusawal-21.55/22.00 and reach Madgaon at 16.40 hrs on Saturday the next day. Train No 01236 Madgaon-Nagpur Express will run from October 24 to November 7 starting at 19:40 pm every Saturday and Bhusawal-13.55/ 14.00, Akola-15:55/15:57, Badnera17:18/17:20, Wardha-18.28/18.30 arrived in Nagpur on second day at 20.30 hrs. The trains will have 22 coaches comprising one IIAC, four IIIAC, 11 sleeper and four general and 2 SLR.
