As winter returns the weather has started showing its effect in Nagpur with the increase in dryness and mild cold in the day and chilling breeze in night.
On Sunday, Nagpur records 13.4 degree celcius as the minimum temperature. The overall temperature was 3 degree below normal. Meanwhile, Chandrapur and Yavatmal remained the coldest districts in Vidarbha with 10.0 and 11.5 degree Celsius respectively.
According to meteorological department, a low pressure belt has been created in the Andaman sea.
Consequently, there is possibility of rain in southern states and Andaman Nicobar islands but dryness will increase in central India and adjoin ing states in the next five days.
The meteorological department has predicted a further drop in temperature as the dryness increases.
The maximum daytime temperature in Nagpur was 31.4 degree Celsius.
