As we know the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has reeling under bad financial condition, the company has announced snapping electricity supplies of defaulters, as the consumers have not cleared dues over Rs.60000 crore.As per information, the 71,68,596 electricity consumers in state have been issued notices.
The duration of notice ends on Saturday, January 30,2020.The MSEDCL while taking tough stand had started sending notices to consumers of over 20KW load and others through SMS from December 15.While appeal has been made to clear dues in notice and a warning of snapping electricity connections will be done if dues are not cleared within 15 days. The maximum number of consumers receiving notices is Pune region of MSEDCL.Around 24, 14,868 consumers have been sent notices through SMS.
