The rise and drop in daily COVID-19 cases continues as the second capital of the state reported 310 fresh cases on January 31. In the day, 9 people succumbed to the infection. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 134274.
From the total 4158 deaths so far, 741 deaths are from the city, 2722 from rural and rest 695 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3335 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 225 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 126781 (including 68498 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 94.42%.
Today’s 310 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (26), GMC (36), IGGMC (45), MAFSU (7), NEERI (20), RTMNU (21) Private Lab (113) and Antigen (39).
