Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Nuisance Detection Squad on Wednesday (February 3) took action against 107 irresponsible citizens without masks and recovered a fine of Rs 53,500 in total from them (Rs 500 from each). Masks were also given to all these citizens. In the last few months, search teams have taken action against 30,324 citizens and so far a fine of Rs. 1,35,21,000 / – has been recovered so far.
Although the number of corona patients has decreased, the risk of corona virus infection has not been averted. Even now, in many places, safe distances are not observed. In urban areas, it is dangerous to see unmasked citizens walking around. Therefore, the nuisance detection team is taking strict action against the citizens who are endangering their own health, family health and the health of the society in such an irresponsible manner and they are being given masks.
31 under Laxminagar zone, 11 under Dharampeth zone, 12 under Hanuman Nagar zone, 4 under Dhantoli zone, 2 under Nehrunagar zone, 6 under Gandhibagh zone, 6 under Sataranjipura zone, 4 under Lakdaganj zone, 21 under Ashinagar zone, 8 Mangalwari zone and 2 persons from the corporation headquarters on Wednesday under the guidance of search team chief Virsen Tambe.
In order to control the number of patients in Nagpur, the Municipal Corporation’s nuisance search team is taking action against irresponsible citizens walking in the zone without masks every day.
