Delegation of duty is common among human beings, here happened a uncommon thing as the stray dog has taken the charge of night duty of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).A video in which a stray dog was seen roaming in the ward went viral on social media on Tuesday which is stated to be from ward No.23.After the video went viral, acting dean Dr.R.P.Singh ordered a probe into the incident.
As per information, trauma care centre was established so that injured persons of accident can get better treatment. But in the Covid period, it is converted into Covid Centre. Due to this reason, ward No.28 is prepared for the treatment of injured patients of accident. At present injured patients are being admitted into ward No.25.Dean Dr.Singh said that roaming of the dog in the ward is a serious matter and it will be investigated. He also added that NMC will be given a letter to catch the dogs of the GMCH complex.
