In-form R Shiva, Arush Chitre and Chetan Deodhagale shared the lead with four points each to their credit at the end of the fourth round in the LIC Open Online Chess tournament, organized by the LICI Sports and Recreation Club, Nagpur Division, here on Sunday.
The two-day tourney is being conducted by the Nagpur District Chess Association.
In the fourth round, R Shiva outclassed Nilay Kulkarni to take his points tally to four on the top board.
On the second board, Arush Chitre prevailed over Dishank Bajaj to notch up his fourth successive victory.
Chetan Deodhagale outwitted Harihar to join the other two at the top. Young Prerak Darvekar got the better of Krisha Taori.
The remaining four rounds will be played on Sunday. In all, 57 players are vying for the top honours.
The meet is conducted under the supervision of FA Umesh Panbude and Sheetal Panbude.
