During the final round of the admission process for class 11 in the junior colleges of the city, 34799 seats have been filled out of 59250 seats on the final day while 24451 seats remain vacant. The central admission committee has commenced admission process in August. Before the declaration of supplementary examination result, more than 30000 seats were vacant. The committee started special admission round to fill these seats. After that 4000 seats were filled.
In view of the academic session, the committee had decided not to take admission after January 30.Dur to this, more than 24000 seats remained vacant. And the committee had decided to conduct special admission round from February 5 to February 16.In this round, 473 students took admission. The officials said that due to Covid pandemic, the students from other district could not take admission.Hence, the seats remain vacant.
