There is no respite from the COVID-19 situation getting worse in the region. The admistration has already issued warning and are continuously appealing citizens to stay indoor and follow COVID-19 guidlines. The city on Wednesday not only reported more that 1K cases but also witnessed rise in the number deaths. Also, adding little relief the district records more that 1k recoveries in the day.
On February 25, the district registered 1116 positive cases in the day. The total number of cases has reached 146831. Today 14 people succumbed to the virus-borne disease taking the tally of deaths to 4314.
As per the official report, out of the total positive cases, 288 were from rural areas and 826 cases from Nagpur city alone.
Meanwhile, from the total deaths, 9 cases were reported from Nagpur city, while 2 each were registered from rural and outside the city.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 7259 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
With 1028 recoveries in the day, the cumulative number of recovered cases rose to 135258 (including 73961 home isolation recoveries). The recovery rate recorded today was percent.
Today’s 1116 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
