After a long wait, Nagpur Flying Club (NFC) may become operational after almost 3 years. As per information, the flying activity may continue at the flying club by April 22.However, some approvals and other licensing depend upon other departments. So clarity of resuming flying activity is not clear yet. A per information, eight aspects are to be worked out for the Airworthiness Certificate (ARC) of the aircraft under the timetable presented. Under this, 5 procedures have been completed.
But after the deficiencies were reported, the proposal for acceptance of test flight from the club has been sent to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).Eight categories of the posts have been admitted for the club. After this, the process of obtaining Flying Training Organization (FTO) license for the club will be completed. Test flight will be conducted after ARC renewal. Training flights from NFC would begin as soon as FTO license is obtained.
