After drop in cases Nagpur district once again reported more than 1K daily cases of COVID-19 on March 4. Today the district reported 1070 fresh positive cases with 8 deaths. The total number of cases has reached 153882 so far. The tally of deaths due to the virus-borne disease reached to 4365.
As per the official report, out of the total positive cases, 223 were from rural areas and 845 cases from Nagpur city alone.
Meanwhile, from the total deaths, 2 cases were reported from Nagpur city and 4 from rural area while 2 were registered from outside of the city.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 9631 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
With 726 recoveries in the day, the cumulative number of recovered cases rose to 139886 (including 79214 home isolation recoveries). The recovery rate recorded today was 90.90 percent.
Today’s 1070 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
