The results of Basoli Group 7th National level Clay Modeling Competition was declared recently. Topic of the competition which was held in two categories was terrestrial and aquatic animals. Around 531 children from all over the country took part in the online competition.
Even children from Germany, America and England also took part in the competition. Children in age group 5 to 9 years of age were placed in group A, while those between 10 to 16 years of age was placed in group B. Children are going way from nature, to bring them close to the nature and inculcate their creativity was the objective behind the competition.
In each group, 4 prizes and 10 consolation certificates were given. Renowned Sculptures of Banaras Latika and Bhagwan  Rampure from Solapur were the judges of the competition. Chandrakant Channe, Chief of Basoli Group congratulated all the winners. In group A the winners are Shambhavi Badve, Mumbai, Wasim Sheikh, Satara, Sanskruti Udgir, Pune and Arnav Channe, Nagpur were the awardees.
In group B Arnav Uttalwar, Nagpur, Mandar Lohar Satara, Rehansh Ramtekekar, Nagpur and Soumitra Datar from Nago Thane were the winners.
Arnav Uttalwar is a student of class 9th of Shahu Garden, School. Manewada. His elder brother Mandar Uttalwar is also a well recognized fort artist and has won several prizes during Diwali fort making competition. People from far come to see his fort.   Â
