Gym Association delegation under the leadership of Kunda Raut, former Zilla Parishad Member and former President of District Youth Congress met District Guardian Minister and Maharashtra Energy Minister Dr Nitin Raut and requested him to allow the city gyms and workout places (Vyamshala) to be opened. They brought to the notice of the Minister the setback to their financial condition last year and the same situation with the current lockdown, where gyms are not allowed to operate.
Their financial commitment, payments of the trainers,  paying of bills etc is getting delayed, due to closure of gym. Even the financial income of the owners is getting from bad to worse, due to closure of gym. They all requested permission to start gyms. “Workout or exercise increase persons immunity, which is must to fight with the pandemic. Even income of the owners, who are having big investment and financial commitments every month is must. Kindly grant permission to the thousands of person of city involved in this industry,†said Kunda Raut. Â
