Citing the continuous surge of COVID-19 cases in the country Government of India has decided to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate exam.
The NEET PG exam was scheduled to be held on April 18 which is not postponed keeping wellbeing of our young medical students in mind. Next date to be decided later after reviewing the situation later informed Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.
A group of MBBS doctors had moved the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the exam earlier. In this a petition by the group of doctors has sought postponement of the annual exam.
The annual NEET-PG exam was originally scheduled for January 5, 2021, before being postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.
Maharashtra State on Thursday postponed medical exams across the state till June. The exam for the first, second, and third year of various medical, health science courses which is conducted by the Maharashtra University of Health Science (MUHS) was already postponed twice before following the rise in Covid cases in the state.
