A new stock of oxygen and Remdesivir medicine reached Orange City on Monday. He much-awaited new stock of drug Remdesivir reached Nagpur on Monday morning following a shortage of the vital life-saving drug in the city since the cases were on a rapid increase.
Apart from this to curb the shortage of Oxygen in city first consignment of 16 tons of oxygen has reached Nagpur by tanker from Bhilai Steel Plant. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had appealed industries to provide oxygen for COVID-19 patients after which the first consignment of oxygen reached Nagpur by tanker from Bhilai Steel Plant. By midnight today, a total of 36 tonnes of extra oxygen will reach Nagpur from Bhilai and another from Bellary.
Gadkari had today ordered 125 non-invasive BPAP ventilators from the CSR fund through Spice Health, which he distributed to 12 hospitals in Nagpur. This will benefit patients with mild and moderate respiratory problems.
