Under the initiative taken by former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to provide oxygen cylinders to the needy patients, two more tankers from Jaiswal Neco Group, Raipur has arrived in the city today.
The arrival of the oxygen tanks amid shortage of oxygen cylinders has brought relief to the increasing number of corona positive patients of city.
The tankers are of 22 metric tonnes and 16 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen, which may benefit 3000 patients admitted in Government as well as private hospitals of the district.
Devandra Fadnavis, Leader of the opposition Vidhan Sabha, along with Chandreshaker Bawankule and Dipen Agrawal had meet Ravindra Thakre, Nagpur District Collector and discussed with Ramesh Jaiswal, Joint Managing Director of Jaiswal Neco Group with them.
During the meeting, Jaiswal assured regular supply of tankers on alternate days, for which district administration has to make logistic arrangements. With this supply the scarcity of the oxygen will reduce. Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, thanked Fadnavis for the arrangement.
