Though some relief to citizens with decrease in daily positive patients and increase in number of recoveries today. But unfornately the shortage of vaccine continues as there will be no vaccination for senior citizens above 45 years of age.
This is the third consecutive day when the local administration has failed to give jabs to senior citizens.
A communique from the NMC stated that due to non-availability of adequate stock, they are unable to vaccinate senior citizens above 45 years of age.
Vaccination for senior citizens will be done only at Late Prabhakarroa Datke , Health Center, Mahal. Ram Joshi, Additional Commissioner NMC informed that only second jab will be available to senior citizens at Government Medical College and Hospital. At both the places Covaxin dose will be given.
For people between 18 and 44 years vaccination will be done at Indira Gandhi Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Pachpawali Sutikagruha and Isolation Hospital at Imambada.
Online registration is important for people between 18 and 44 years of age, and they have to reach the center at the allotted time only to avoid rush. Â Â Â Â
