As we know the world is reeling under the wrath of Covid-19 and there is possibility of large number of children to get infected during third wave. Regarding this issue, Nagpur Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari stated that the doctors should start preparations from now and Indian Medical Association should take initiative.
He was attending the online workshop organized jointly by civic administration and Indian Medical Association to discuss measures to tackle third wave of Covid-19.During this, Dr.Sanjay Deotale said that people up to 60 years were the most affected in the first wave of Covid. Young people are getting affected in the second wave. Children are expected to be infected in the third wave. Dr.Manjusha Giri remarked that isolation of young children will be a big challenge.
