After 76 days, the Nagpur district registered below 1,000 Covid cases as 971 new cases were detected in the district on May 17 taking the cumulative positive cases to 464214.
With less daily cases district registered 30 death cases while the recovery continued to surpass daily cases. In a day 3894 patients recovered from the deadly virus taking the Active cases 26,890.
With a downward trend in daily cases, Nagpur is seeing a rise in the number of beneficiaries getting administered with vaccine. According to the official data issued by Nagpur Municipal Corporation, a total of 6,29,346 beneficiaries have been administrated with both vaccine doses till May 16.

With more recovery number of vacant beds in Nagpur has also increased according to the official site 2014 Oxygen beds are vacant, 447 non –oxygen beds, 442 ICU beds, and 45 ventilators are vacant in Nagpur city for patients with medical emergency and COVID related issues.
Nagpur also received 977 Remdesivir doses which was allotted to different hospitals for COVID treatment today.
