Session 2 of the “HEALTH & WELLNESS SERIES†titled- “Attitude – The Master Key†was organised by “Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAIâ€, in association with “FORTUNE FOUNDATION†jointly with Nagpur Branch of WICASA, Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI, Akola Branch of WICASA & Wardha CPE Chapter of ICAI.
The Guest Speaker for the session was PUJYA DR. GNANVATSAL SWAMI. The session started with opening remarks of Professor Anil Sole, Past MLC and President of Fortune Foundation introducing about activities of Fortune Foundation and how the foundation helps in providing employment opportunities to thousands of youths of Vidarbha region every year. The foundation has a record of providing employment to more than 17,000 youths. CA Jiten Saglani, Vice Chairman ICAI Nagpur Branch and the WICASA Chairman addressed the virtual gathering by expressing that the biggest invention of 21 st Century is that, “If you change your attitude, your life changesâ€.
He introduced the guest speaker for the day Pujya Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami who has been prolific speaker on various motivational topics.
Swamiji has been a Life coach and has delivered more than 15,000 lectures in past 25 years. Pujya Dr. Gnanvatsal Swamiji is a celibate of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha which is a socio spiritual organisation having two splendid Akshardhams at Gandhinagar, Gujarat & New Delhi.
Pujya Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami, in his session emphasized how important hard work and persistence are in everybody’s life. He said that “The heights attained by great personalities are not attained by sudden flights, but while their companions slept, they were working at nightsâ€. Swamiji emphasised that consistency & discipline (niyamitata) plays a vital role in determining one’s success. He further went to say that “Nadi ka paani agar niyamit behta hai tabhi wah samudra se milta hai†which infers “unless a river flows regularly it can’t meet the sea.†Swamiji beautifully explained the importance of consistency (niyamitata) with these lines.
Swamiji narrated some real-life stories in which he covered the example of Padma Shri, Khel Ratna & Arjuna Award winner Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was asked in an interview about the secret of his success, to which he replied “I not only play cricket, I walk cricket, I drink cricket, I eat cricket, I think cricket, I dream cricket, I only have cricket in my mind and heart.†Swamiji emphasised the importance of truth, clear thoughts, ethics, moderation, rules, discipline, regularity & efforts are to attain success in life.
Lastly, Swamiji told the importance of chanting God’s name for which he mentioned about the findings by The University of Pennsylvania, in which they used the pyscho neuro software which proved that if we chant God’s name for 12 minutes a day, then our memory power increases by 12-25% for the age-group of 5-12 years & our will power, confidence as well as memory increases by 15-25% for the age group of 12-22 years. Swamiji concluded the session with the lines “Live a day at a timeâ€.
CA Saket Bagdia, Chairman of Nagpur Branch concluded the session by proposing closing remarks as well as formal vote of thanks to Pujya Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami, organisers – Anil Sole, Fortune Foundation, Ajay Rajkarne & Vijay Fadnavis. Bagdia said “Knowledge is about learning and sharingâ€.
He thanked the audience for connecting in large numbers for the program. He mentioned the significance of the session and the takeaways which would benefit the viewers from the session. Prominently also present on the occasion was Shri Atul Goel of Ganga Goel Group who enlightened the audience with his vision about Vidarbha.
