In order to provide shelter to kids who have lost their parents due to Covid, Shri Siddhivinayak Seva Trust has started a project called ‘Sobat’.The project was inaugurated by Opposition leader of State Assembly DevendraFadnavis.The programme was conducted at Scientific Hall in Laxmi Nagar.
During the occasion, Fadnavis informed that the parenthood of 100 registered children whose one or both parents have died of Covid-19 has been accepted. He also declared that parenthood of children from south west constituency of the city would also be taken care of. Under ‘Sobat’work will be done on education, health, diet, counselling and skill development of orphan children. Also food grains were distributed to sports coaches and artists.Besides, front line workers covid warriors were facilitated on the occasion. A book named ‘Unmasking India ‘was also distributed.
