Nagpur: The daily COVID figure once again surprises the citizens of Nagpur district. On Monday, the district witnesed lowest positive cases after the second wave. The district today reported 14 fresh cases and zero deaths in last 24 hours.
It us worth mentioning here that the district is already facing level 3 restrictions as a precautionary measure in the wake of Delta Plus varian of COVID.
However today the district reported less recovered cases as compared to previos days. A total of 26 successfully recovered from the virus borne disease, taking the numbers of cumulative recovered to 468026.
From the total 14 patients 11 were from Following which recovery rate has improved to 98.08%.
With the latest update, the total number of cases has surged to 477209 while the number of deaths stand still at 9,031.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stand at 152 including asymptomatic cases.
It is pertinent to mention that the District Collector Ravindra Thackeray has extended the further tightening the restrictions to break the chain of transmission of the COVID 19 virus and tackle the threat of the Delta Plus Variant in the state. The new restrictions will be remain enforce from July 5 to July 12.
