“If we stretch a string continuously for a longer period it gets tears. The same law also applies to human beings also. When the cases are less all the Government Covid centres are getting closed as the recovery level is above 98 per cent. The Government especially the local authorities should have a human approach while framing policies,†said Adv Ashok Yawale, Social Activist.
He added that everyone has felt the burns of the second wave, and now people are more conscious about the COVID-19 and are taking necessary steps accordingly. The local authorities must keep the medical infrastructure ready so that no one has to lose his life from the shortage of oxygen ventilators or medicine. Stock must be available in ample quantity from the Government.
“Rush in the market is only due to short timing, if everything is available all the time, people will also not make rush in the market,†Adv Yawale said.
Dr Prakesh Supare, Social Activist added that the hide-n-seek of vaccination must be stopped. “Vaccine must be available regularly for all. Before also ‘Polio’ and other vaccine drive has been conducted in the country without any hassle. Why after every one or two days we are out of stock? Even in the budget a provision of Rs 35000 crore has been made for vaccination of all citizens. Where is the money gone? Vaccinate all the citizens and make them mask free,†He said.
One senior Journalist through a vedio message has said that its a conspiracy in the name of pandemic, and the Government is having plans to threaten people and impose lockdown till 2025. People are frustrated as many have lost their jobs. Even those who are surviving are just earning very less of what they used to earn before lockdown. Crime for money is increasing. Social unrest and civil disobedience movement may rise anytime, is the general opinion.
“If there is the Government of the people and for the people then such policies won’t have been framed. It seems the Government is having some different hidden agenda,†said a person on condition of anonymity.
