Nagpur Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (NMRDA) has organised a draw on social media platform on August 16 at 11 am for allotment of 2980 dwellings to the citizens under the PM Awas Yojna.
The draw will be held under the guidance of Uddhavrao Thackeray, the Chief Minister, through video link in presence of Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport Minister, Dr Nitin Raut, In-charge Minister for Nagpur district, Sunil Kedar, Minister for Anil Husbandry and Dairy Development and MP Krupal Tumane.
The authority has been constructing various housing schemes in the city under the PM Awas Yojuna. It has also started allotting the houses to the citizens. Now, this virtual draw has been organised to allot 2980 houses under category III.
A press note issued here on Saturday said that the citizens should not create rush for the draw in view of coronavirus pandemic. They should follow the protocol and watch it on https:/bit.ly/nmrda2021 tube link, appealed Commissioner Manojkumar Suryavanshi.
As many as 2980 houses out of 4345 are available for allotment while the authority received 3370 application forms for it. Therefore, it will organise the draw on Monday. The applicants can see their names on https://pmay.nitnagpur.org website after the inaugural function is over.
All the buildings under the project are five-storeyed structures with 28.53 to 30.00 sq mtr carpet area having facilities like living room, kitchen, bed room, balcony, toilet etc.
