‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’, 75th Independence Day was celebrated with zeal and .enthusiasm that enthralled all at The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School.
The celebration commenced by hoisting the National Flag at the hands of the Chief Guest ‘Shri. Mangesh Mopkar’, India’s veteran Table – Tennis Umpire who
officiated at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, accompanied by Chairman Shri. Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Dr. Rupali Hingwe, Headmistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye, Secretary Nageshji Kanage, Joint Secretary Gajanan Ranade & members of the Managing Committee.
It was a proud moment for the School to have such an eminent and humble personality Shri. Mangesh Mopkar.
National Anthem then filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervor. Students, Aarav Katrani, Sanvi Nandrunkar, Aaditri Thaore, and Pranada Chandrayan through their speeches in English, Marathi, Hindi & Sanskrit invoked the spirit of patriotism.
Patriotic songs sung by the School choir arose sublime feelings of dedication and sacrifice. Yogasanas demonstrated by the students Shripad Kanitkar and Swara Lashkare showcased flexibility and perfection.
Compering was done by Charul Dubey. The program concluded by singing Vande Mataram.
Mangesh Mopkar shared his experience that he had at the Tokyo Olympics.
