Only 65.86 percent of the applicants appeared for eligibility test for PhD, conducted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
Today was first day of the test which was conducted smoothly at 11 examination centers.
Out of 1819 applicants in Science and Technology Faculty, registered for 29 subjects, 1198 actually appeared.
RTMNU Vice Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari visited the centres. Besides three flying squads were constituted for ensuring conduct of test without any malpractice.
