In order to control the holiday season crowd, Central Railway is running weekly superfast special trains between Nagpur-Karmali and CSMT-Nagpur. The special trains would help clear the extra rush of passengers during the forthcoming Diwali and Chhath festival.
Nagpur-Karmali weeklynSuperfast Special (8 Trips): 01239 Superfast weekly
special will leave Nagpur on every Saturday at 15.50 hrs from October 30 to
November 20 and reach Karmali at 14.30 hrs next day.
01240 Superfast weekly special will leave.Karmali on every Sunday at 20.40 hrs from October 31 to November 21.11.2021 and arrive in Nagpur at 20.10 hrs next day.
The train would have halts at Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Nashik Road, Igatpuri, Kalyan, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangmeshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim railway station.
The train composition: One AC 2 Tier, 4 AC 3 Tier, 11 Sleeper Class and 6 Second Class seating.
Mumbai-Nagpur weekly Superfast Special (8 Trips): 01247 Superfast weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai on every Friday at 22.45 hrs from October 29 to November 19 (4 Trips) and arrive in Nagpur at 13.10 hrs next day.
01248 Superfast weekly special will leave Nagpur on every Saturday at 17.40 hrs from October 30 to November 20 (4 Trips) and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji MaharajTerminus Mumbai at 08.30 hrs next day.
The halts are Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Shegaon, Akola, Dhamangaon and Wardha.
The train composition: One First AC, Two AC 2 Tier, Five AC 3 Tier, 5 Sleeper Class and 6 Second Class seating.
Bookings for fully reserved weekly special train no. 01239 and 01247/01248 on special charges have opened from October 18 at all computerised reservation centers and on website www.irctc.co.in.
