Taking advantage of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation strike, the private travels are charing exorbitant fares from the passengers. The regional transport office has taken cognizance of this and has come forward to provide vehicles for the convenience of the passengers.
The RTO is planning to arrange school buses and passenger buses for people. In this regard, a joint meeting of regional transport officer’s office Nagpur city, rural and east Nagpur was held.
Representatives of school bus associations and passenger bus associations were invited to the meeting. It also directed the association to provide information on the number of vehicles available for the public service.
