Citizens and tourists wanting to undertake jungle safari, enter in biopark and nature trail at Balasahabe Thackeray Gorewada International Zoo will be required to have completed two doses of vaccination against corona, as per the government rules.
Pramod Panchbhai, Divisional Manager, Gorewada zoo project, informed that the persons having not completed two doses of vaccination would not be allowed to enter in. He appealed to the people to follow the rules to avoid any inconvenience to them, he added.
Meanwhile, Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra (FDCM) held a blood donation camp in Gorewada on Saturday which received good response with the staff members donating the blood.
Panchbhai was the first to donate his blood, followed by Vijay Suryavanshi, Asstt Conservator of Forest, family members of H V Madbhooshi, Asstt Conservator of Forest, Kunal Meshram, Asstt Resort Manager, staff members and some tourists donating the blood.
The camp was organised by Kalpana Chinchkhede, Asstt Manager, and Sweta Khandelwal of GSK Blood Bank, under the guidance of N Vasudevan, Managing Director, FDCM, Nagpur.
