Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has set up a modern 199-bedded hospital at Shri Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative Building of RTM Nagpur University for treatment of possible danger of Omicron variant.
Dayashankar Tiwari, the Mayor, inspected the hospital on Friday. On the occasion, Sanjay Dubey, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university, Milind Meshram, Deputy Commissioner, Dr Sanjay Chilkar, Medical Health Officer, Dr Shubham Mangate, Dahikar and others were present.
Aabaji Thatte Seva & Research Sanstha running National Cancer Institute has provided all the necessary facilities. The hospital has facilities of doctors, staff members, pharmacy, pantry, separate arrangements for infants, boys/girls below 15 years of age and citizens, waiting room, lift, reception counter, oxygen cylinders etc. The hospital is situated on the second and third floor of the building.
Tiwari expressed his thanks to Dr Subhash Chaudhari, Vice-Chancellor of RTM Nagpur University for extending his active cooperation for the purpose.
