SVK Shikshan Sanstha an NGO working for Intellectually Challenged Adults, has successfully organised Walk-A-Thon “WE CAREâ€, under its project Vatsalya, for the fourth consecutive year, to mark International day of Persons with Disabilities on 5th December, 2021 at 7am at Walker’s Road, Ramgiri, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
The fundamental aim of Vatsalya’s Walk-A-Thon is to show that WE CARE for each other and support Inclusive Society with Equal Opportunities, and to increase awareness and understanding of general people towards the desires, needs and capabilities of differently abled people. Thus, support the differently abled people to get their self-respect, rights, welfare and security in our society.
Shri Prashant Gurhar, President, Orange City Runners Society inaugurated the walk a thon,while members of OCRI encouraged the participants with various cultural activities and gifts.
Nisha Thakur,and beneficiaries of Chitnavus Trust also participated in the event along with the beneficiaries of SVK Shikshan Sanstha.
