The city has been shivering again with its minimum temperature reaching single digit. Nagpur was the second coldest in Vidarbha recording a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius. The second coldest in Vidarbha after Gondia which reported 7.4 degree Celsius.
Regional Meteorological Centre has issued yellow warning of cold wave in Nagpur and Vidarbha region.
According to Skymet Weather the change in weather condition is due to the Western Disturbance and its induced Cyclonic Circulation.
Experts have advised citizens to dress up appropriately to avoid getting sick in this weather.
Cold wave conditions are expected to last during this
week and may even extend further in February.
On Saturday, Gadchiroli recorded 8.6 degree Celsius, Wardha maximum temperature 8.8 degrees Celsius, while Brahmapuri and Akola recorded 9.1 degrees Celsius of minimum temperature becoming the coldest in the month of January.
