The students of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, led by Nationalist Congress Party Students Wing President Rudra Dhakde will meet the Vice-Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari, around 12 noon on March 28.
The students are protesting off-line examinations. The organisation has claimed that more than 90 percent classes were conducted on-line. The students may face problems in writing off-line examinations. Besides, the outstation candidates are facing transportation problems, due to the strike of the State Transport employees. Buses are not available, neither hostel facility has been granted by the University.
Dhakde informed The Live Nagpur that several students’ organisations have the agitation. The VC has assured that he will hold a discussion with the Chancellor about the demand of conducting examinations in on-line mode only.
Meanwhile, the University has announced tentative dates of summer examinations, which will be held in off-line mode.
