The agitation of students continues in Nagpur after the announcement of conducting exams in offline mode by the Maharashtra Government in all universities.
On Wednesday students of Nagpur University protested against the government to hold online exams. NSC and NSUI students were seen holding banners in front of their colleges and protesting against the decision.
On April 21 Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University announced that the examinations will be conducted online. The students will have the option to write the examinations in offline mode.
However, the Maharashtra government took the decision on Monday and directed the Universities to conduct offline examinations.
The University had made all the arrangements for online theory examinations and the practical examinations are all set to be held from May 2 in the physical presence of the students.
As per the latest updates, the exam in all the universities in Maharashtra state will begin from June 1. According to the reports the college and university exams in Maharastra will be held from June 1 to July 15.
