Nagpur Municipal Corporation and volunteers of Green Vigil Foundation asked citizens, shopkeepers and establishments to switch off lights for one hour on Wednesday night to mark pournima. They created awareness among the citizens from Gandhi gate, Shivaji statue and Mahal area while Praveen Datke, Legislator and Corporator from the area convinced the people about importance of energy conservation.
Kaustubh Chatterjee, founder President of the foundation, who led the team, Surbhi Jaiswal, Mehul Kosurkar, Sheetal Chaudhari, Ashwini Dable, Paras Jangade, Sujay Kalbande, Sakshi Mulekar, Tushar Deshmukh, Dhanshri Agre, Dipak Prasad and others took active part in creating awareness among public.
