Nagpur once again saw a surge in COVID-19 cases for the second consecutive day. According to the data on Saturday the city registered 34 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours.
Whereas, on Friday the city recorded 29 new cases while only two persons recovered from the dreaded virus. The active case tally had reached 67 in the city on Friday.
Meanwhile, the number of cases is in double digits during the last week, after a gap of over two months.
NMC chief has appealed to citizens to voluntarily follow covid-19 protocols. In an attempt to fight the spread of the virus testing once again resumes at Nagpur railway station from Saturday.
Even Nagpur rural is experiencing a rise in the number of cases. On Friday 11 cases were reported from rural area and three from outside the district.
