The government has launched a scheme for providing medical services for domestic animals through mobile clinics at owners’ door steps under the CM Animal Health Scheme.
Veterinarians and staff members would reach to the homes of owners in 73 tehsils of 32 districts in Maharashtra to provide medcal services to domestic animals to keep them in sound condition.
Sachindrapratap Singh, Commissioner, Animal Husbandry, appealed to farmers to contact toll free no: 1962 and register their requests and then a team from nearby area would reach to treat the animals.
He asked officials concerned to inform gram panchayats about the scheme so that they will explain benefits of this ambitious scheme to farmers.
