Renowned Chef Vishnu Manohar has planned to make 2,000 Kg ‘Chiwda’ on October 16, the World Food Day. The Chida will be made at Vishnuji ki Rasoi, Ramdaspeth, between 9 am and 11 am and then will be distributed free of cost. Amruta Fadnavis and Kanchan Gadkari will be the guests for the event.
Vishnu has brought 600 Kg Chiwdi from Ujjain. The other ingredients to be used are groundnut oil 350 Kg, groundnut 100 Kg, cashew nuts and raisin 100 Kg, coconut and roasted grams 50 Kgs each, Hing and Jeera powder 15 kgs each, Chilli powder 40 Kg, coriander leaves and Kadipatta 100 Kgs each, onion – 50 Kgs, Coriander seeds powder 40 Kgs.
This would be the 14th record for Vishnu Manohar.
