Dr Vipin Itankar, Collector & DM (Nagpur) inaugurated a Workshop on Conversion of Bio Mass for Energy Generation on 13 October 2022 at NTPC Mouda. This workshop was organized in association with DM, Agriculture Department (ATMA) and Corporate Bio Mass team of NTPC Limited.
Sudip Nag, Executive Director (Biomass) laid down brief of the usage of Bio Mass in generation of electricity at NTPC’s thermal stations and provided awareness about the benefits of bio mass production to the farmers present.
A K Manohar, Head of Project (NTPC Mouda) interacted with the participants and addressed their queries. The participants of this workshop were manufacturers and buyers of Bio mass, farmers and entrepreneurs.
Dr Itankar also visited the plant premises and control room to get a glance of functioning of NTPC Mouda. On the occasion, Dr Nalini Bhoyar, Project Incharge (ATMA), officials of district administration and NTPC Mouda were present.
